We offer many different live edge slabs of many different sizes and species. All of our live edge slabs are kiln-dried in our iDRY Vacuum Kiln. Slabs are rough-cut but can be flattened upon request!

If you have logs and would like to turn them into live edge slabs or dimensional lumber, we can help. We run a fully hydraulic Woodmizer LT50 wide bandsaw that can cut up to 34” wide and 20’ long! We charge by the hour, but most of the time the saw will cut faster than the lumber or slabs can be taken off the mill!

We own and operate an iDRY vacuum kiln. Vacuum kilns produce more consistent and much faster drying times than conventional kilns. We charge a per bd ft per day price, so final prices will vary based on species of wood, the thickness of wood, and how long the wood has been air drying prior to going into the kiln. The benefits of kiln drying are eliminating warping, cupping, and twisting and killing any bugs, fungi, or larvae in the wood.

All wood moves, especially when drying. After your wood is dry, if you want us to do the last bit of hard work, we can flatten it for you. We charge $6/sq ft for flattening; then, all you have left to do is sand and finish!

What People Are Saying

  • This is the first time I have milled my own wood. It was amazing and very easy with Jeff. The wood turned out beautiful and so much better than any wood I could have bought! I highly recommend doing this with a tree or two if you are cutting them down!

    — Martha B.

  • We have never had any trees milled before and the owner, Jeff Weldon, thoroughly answered the milling process questions my family had and suggested how he would mill certain pieces of wood. Jeff was very professional and I would most certainly give him a call again if ever I had a need for more milling.

    — David D.

  • Jeff milled 5 maple and oak trees for me and everything came out great. His equipment performed perfectly and the finished product is exactly what I wanted. Jeff is efficient, professional, and down-to-earth. I would highly recommend his services.
